Test Setup

We test Z490 motherboards using Intel's Core i9-10900K CPU along with 16GB (2 x 8GB) of Corsair 3,466MHz Vengeance Pro RGB DDR4 memory. We're also using a Corsair Hydro-X water cooling hardware-based system with two 240mm radiators as well as an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super Founders Edition. To test the M.2 PCIe  capabilities we're using a Samsung 960 Pro NVMe SSD and, where possible, using the motherboard's own heatsinks to cool it to obtain both speed and SSD temperatures.
